Great camera but dont forget to separately order a memory card when buying the camera
Great camera (purchase price: $159.00 in August 2010) and company. The only thing I wish was that the Amazon listing made it clear that the camera did not come with a memory card and thus the camera was not ready to take photos when I received it. After receiving my camera I gave another look at the ad and it did say "Compatible with SD/SDHC MMC/MMC Plus/HC MMC Plus (not included)." So Im supposed to know what "SD/SDHC MMC/MMC Plus/HC MMC Plus" means? I do now.

As my new $159 paperweight sat I then ordered the following memory card for $34.24 (per another commentators recommendation):

Sandisk 8GB EXTREME SDHC HD Video Card Class 6 - 20MB/s (SDSDRX3-8192) [Hassle-Free Packaging].

Its all good now but make sure that you order a memory card (8 Gigabytes (GB) or more) WITH your camera order. :2010-09-18 16:56:07

Canons Customer dis-service is horrible!!
This camera really never took great or even good pictures. Main thing I am reviewing is Canons customer service. I think it is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I bought this camera 5 or 6 months ago my wife dropped it (very easy drop) and the camera kept saying "lens error". Sent it in for repair and received email stating that it was damaged and will cost 129.70 to repair. I purchased this camera for 176.00 and extra batteries and accessories for another 50.00. They wouldnt help me out at all.. I called and they were rude and unresponsive. I am stuck with a dead POS after 5 months. Thanks Canon. I have purchased many Canon products but will no longer buy anything with Canon on it. :2010-09-18 16:56:07
